Breaking news: Sabotage on the Crimean bridge: A truck blew up and hit a passing train carrying fuel

"A truck blew up on the Crimean bridge," the National Anti-Terrorism Committee of Russia announced a while ago about the big explosion that took place in the morning and caused significant damage to the bridge.

It was organized sabotage, and the result for Kyiv and the West was impressive.

According to the National Anti-Terrorism Commission, two sections of the Kerch highway bridge partially collapsed. However, the bridge's arch over the land portion was not damaged. 

It is assumed that the Russian Army can repair them quickly.

Even so, there is a severe problem in the supply of Crimea from the Russian hinterland and in transferring reinforcements to the Russian forces in Kherson.

For Russian reinforcements in Kherson, there is the corridor opened after Mariupol's capture.

Symbolically and effectively, Kyiv and the West (the Ukrainians do not achieve anything alone) achieved significant success.

Moscow's response to this blow will be interesting.

 Remember that former Russian president N. Medvedev declared in July 2022 that if the bridge in Crimea is hit, this will mean the start of a nuclear war.

"If the Ukrainian forces hit the Crimean bridge, then the day of judgment will come for all of them," he said, speaking at an event for veterans of the Russian Army, adding:

"If any other state, such as Ukraine and NATO member states, believes that Crimea is not Russian, then that state is a systemic threat to us."
