Emergency Address: In the evening, the President of Iran will address an emergency address to the country.

Following a series of attacks on IRGC forces in Syria and Iraq, as well as against the backdrop of attacks on military installations in Iran, it has been announced that

 Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi will issue an emergency statement to the country this evening on state-run Iranian television.

According to preliminary data, the appeal to fellow citizens may be directly linked to attacks on Iranian facilities both on the territory of the Islamic Republic and on the part of other countries.

Raisi ran for president in 2017 as the conservative Popular Front of Islamic Revolution Forces candidate, losing to moderate incumbent President Hassan Rouhani, 57% to 38.3%. He was one of the four people on the prosecution committee responsible for the execution of thousands of political prisoners in Iran in 1988 and is hence labeled the "death committee."

 He is sanctioned by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control by Executive Order 13876.

 He is accused of crimes against humanity by international human rights organizations and United Nations special reporters.

 Raisi ran for president a second time in 2021 with 62.9% of the votes, succeeding Hassan Rouhani.

According to many observers, the 2021 Iranian presidential election was rigged in favor of Raisi, considered a hardline ally of Ali Khamenei.

 Raisi is often seen as a frontrunner to succeed Khamenei as Supreme Leader

So far, there are no official statements about what the President of Iran will address to the nation; however, the appeal will be extraordinary since it was made known just a few hours before the official address.

The most likely version of the emergency address is that the latest events around Iran prompted the Iranian president's call to the country.

 As it was previously reported, based on the results of an investigation into the recent attack on Iran: 

 Tehran would be ready to take harsh measures against the country or countries responsible for the attack, which does not rule out new armed conflict in the Middle East with close allies of Israel or the government itself.

In the wake of the above, the commander of the Iranian Air Force says that its forces are fully prepared to deal with any threat to the country's safe skies using its state-of-the-art domestic defense systems and radars. Brigadier General Alireza Sabahi-Fard said Iran enjoys a strong deterrent thanks to the strategic goals established by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and the expertise of Iran's youth.

"The strong Air Defense Force is ready to counter any threat in the safe skies of our beloved country using its new indigenous systems," the commander said.

 It helps the country's integrated air defense network, which is responsible for the operational control of air defense units, become stronger at different levels.

A little earlier, Iran announced that Ukraine participated in the attack on military installations.
