Ukraine's immediate escalation with NATO involvement? Video.

A little while ago, a shocking video that saw the light of day showed the heavy shelling of Ukrainian positions in the southeastern districts of Bakhmut,

 in Eastern Ukraine, which is closely besieged by Russian forces.

The Ukrainians are being "pounded" relentlessly by the Russian Artillery.

The operations map shows fighting throughout the city's urban fabric from North to South along the Bakhmutka River.

Newer reports from sources on Twitter say that conditions are challenging for Ukrainian fighters in the Ugledar area. It was announced a while ago by the Russian speakers of Donetsk that Russian forces have managed to penetrate the city's eastern sector and are attempting to expand the bridgehead.

The fighting is happening around the water tanks and pumping stations.

Ugledar is a critical city as Ukrainian supply routes from Zaporizhia to Donbas are from there.

The Russians today resumed air and missile bombardment against Ukrainian infrastructure. 

As announced by the Ukrainian Chief of General Air Staff Valery Zaluzny, the Russian airforce hit Ukrainian targets with hypersonic Kinzhal Kh-47m2  missiles.

Update: The U.S. is planning to send Kyiv the Abrams main battle tank in its more advanced M1A2 configuration rather than the older A1 version that the military has in storage, Politico reports.

Germany's defense company Rheinmetall can provide a large amount of ammunition for modern Leopard 2 battle tanks, which Germany and other countries will send to Ukraine.

Italian media: Rome will send Israeli-made anti-aircraft systems and drones to Ukraine.

Video from Kansas, United States of America, shows heavy tanks being transported to Atlantic ports by rail.

At the same time, the German Foreign Minister declared, "We are at war with Russia."

All events point to an immediate escalation of the front in February 2023.
