Ukraine: A vast testing ground for new weapons

Italy sends anti-aircraft missiles, and France and England modern tanks and warplanes follow soon after.

Russia responded to upgrading the quality of the weapons systems of the west by introducing the T14 into the battlefield.

Russia's newest T-14 'Armata' main battle tanks have arrived in the conflict zone and started being used against Ukrainian forces in response to Germany and Britain supplying Leopard-2A4 and Challenger 2 tanks to the Ukrainians.

The Leopard 2 is a third-generation German main battle tank (MBT). Developed by Krauss-Maffei in the 1970s, the tank entered service in 1979 and replaced the earlier Leopard 1 as the main battle tank of the West German army. Various iterations of the Leopard 2 continue to be operated by Germany's armed forces and 13 other European countries and several non-European states worldwide, including CanadaChileIndonesia, and Singapore. In addition, some operating conditions have licensed the Leopard 2 design for local production and domestic development.

There have been related videos and reports that he could use them in actual combat in Ukraine at some point in the future.

Russia's goal was, and I believe still is, to gather the necessary number of battle-ready tanks for frontal attack and direct war with NATO, equal to the beginning of Spring 2023.

But a few hours ago, it became known that these combat vehicles were already in the zone of operations and were destroying the Ukrainian army's positions.

This Russian T-14 is a small test on the real battlefield.

According to the American expert and author Brandon J Weichert, the Western aid package may trigger a significant conflict between NATO and Russia while possibly bringing opposite results.

"Russia has fully mobilized 300,000 to 350,000 troops and is ready for a massive counterattack against the extended Ukrainian lines.

To prevent a total disaster, the NATO alliance steps in at the eleventh hour to send a 150 battle tank to save the lot.

Western analysts, abandoning their sense of logic and dignity, have become little more than cheerleaders for this decision (and other actions).

But when one looks at the timelines, the fragility of NATO's supply chains in Ukraine, and the way Ukraine's extensive defense lines are already buckling under still limited Russian pressure, one can't help but wonder if these NATO actions are dangerous and futile mistakes.

The previous two World Wars lasted about five years each.

We are now just 13 days away from the first anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

We still have a long time ahead of us.
