In an interview today, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned China not to support Russia in the war it was waging against Ukraine and added that if it does, a world war will break out.

"For us, it is important that China does not support the Russian Federation in this war," Zelensky said in an interview with the German newspaper Die Welt. "I would like China to be on our side. At the moment, however, I do not believe that this is possible."

"But I think it's an opportunity for China to make a realistic assessment of what's happening here," the Ukrainian president added. "Because if China allies with Russia, there will be a world war, and I think China knows that."

Zelenskiy told Die Welt that Ukraine had passed on information to Moldovan President Maya Sandu regarding Moldova, indicating that Russia was planning a coup in Moldova.

"Maya Sandu never asked me for help, but she thanked me for the information. He knows our situation very well. Ukraine will always be ready to help Moldova," he added.
