They are digging trenches in Moldova.

Saturday, March 11, 2023.  Ukrainian border guards are digging trenches on the border with Moldova, Raisa Novitsky, press officer of the Moldovan border police, told the Russian news agency RIA Novosti.

"Colleagues from the State Border Service of Ukraine reported that such operations are carried out to prevent an illegal crossing of the state border by people, as well as smuggling from the territory of Ukraine to Moldova."

According to her, such ditches can be seen in the territory of Ukraine near checkpoints and where roads pass near the state border.

This action is evidenced by the photos posted on Moldovan Telegram channels.

Among the editors of such publications was the deputy of the Socialist Party of Moldova, Bogdan Cirdea.

At the end of February, the Russian Ministry of Defense warned of the threat of the Ukrainian army invading Transnistria.

According to Moscow, the pretext should be staging an attack by Russian troops.
