Ukrainian strike in Crimea! Explosions and massive fires are visible from a distance.
Saturday, April 29, 2023. A little while ago, it became known that Ukraine had achieved a significant blow on the Crimean peninsula.
Just a few days ago, Russia had evacuated its most extensive military base in the region, perhaps because it was expecting this blow.
It is essential that after a year of war, Russia has not managed to move far enough to create a buffer zone in front of the areas it has annexed and is supposed to protect.
Every day these areas are targeted by Ukrainian artillery; that is, they are within the range of the Ukrainian armed forces.
Among the targets was a fuel tank that had caught fire in the city of Sevastopol, an important port on the Crimean peninsula, possibly due to a Ukrainian attack with a remote-controlled drone, announced in the early hours of today the Moscow-appointed governor of the region, Mikhail Razvozaev, via Telegram.
"A fuel tank is on fire (...) According to preliminary reports, the flames may have been caused by an attack" by a UAV, Mr. Razvozaev said, according to Russian state news agency TASS.
According to Russian media, two explosions were heard overnight – around 4 am.

After that, the fire started immediately.
He added that the fire has an area of 1,000 square meters.
However, he did not provide information on casualties.
The next goal may be the destruction of the Crimean Bridge.
