WW3 | The chances of a global nuclear war are increasing.

Tuesday, April 25, 2023. There is now a serious risk of nuclear war between Russia and the U.S., which both have the world's largest nuclear arsenals.

 That risk is "steadily growing," as senior Russian diplomat Vladimir Germakov said in an interview broadcast by the Russian state news agency TASS.

Vladimir Germakov, the Foreign Ministry official responsible for nuclear non-proliferation, blamed the atomic threat on Washington because of its actions against Washington.

Already 14 months have passed since the start of the Russian intervention in Ukraine, and the risk of a nuclear war is more than real.

Every month the tension grows on both sides the West as it defines itself and the East as it defines this new allied entity.

If "the U.S. continues on its current course of conflict with Russia, escalating things to the brink of sliding into direct armed conflict, the fate of New START (the two countries' nuclear weapons agreement) may it's already sealed," Mr. Jermakov explained.

The U.S. informed Russia in March that it would stop sharing data on its nuclear forces after it refused to send data, citing a reaction to Russia's suspension of implementing New START.

"The most acute challenge today is connected (…) with the risk of nuclear escalation due to a direct military confrontation between nuclear powers," said the top Russian diplomat. "And that danger, to my deep sorrow, is steadily increasing," he added.

Besides, Moscow and Beijing will study the possible involvement of other Western countries in the expansion of U.S. missile defense on a global scale, which "clearly undermines strategic stability," added Mr. Yermakov.

The last sentence of the Russian diplomat is also the most important. It was clearly stated that Moscow and Beijing would jointly examine the threat of U.S. missile defense.

This new development means that China and Russia now act as a single military organization.

The danger of a nuclear holocaust caused by the direct conflict between the two superpowers USA and Russia, is real.
