Latvia's destruction of NATO materials and facilities.
Monday, June 19, 2023. Could it start a diffusion of the war and retribution for the sabotages that happened and are happening in Russia in NATO countries this time?
War nowadays is not linear and continuous.
It is very flat with many forms (Economy, ecology, transport, mass media, etc.).
I'm another asymmetric threat, but I'd describe it as a simple guerilla!
For the third time in a few days and the fourth time in four months, NATO equipment and fuel transports have been hit on Latvian territory, and according to sources in Riga, these are successful sabotage operations.
In particular, a Scania truck with a trailer carrying a Bandvagn 206 all-terrain vehicle caught fire near the capital Riga.

According to the Commander of the Armed Forces spokesman, the official cause of the incident was… a traffic accident.
The fire started in the tracks of the vehicle. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
21 firefighters, five tankers, a water tanker, and a rescue vehicle rushed to the scene.
According to information, the total area of the fire was 25 square meters.
Eyewitnesses reported two explosions in the area.
The police are looking for the perpetrators as it is clearly an attack.
In addition, some reports recall the factory operated by the American company Edge Autonomy that produced drones for the Ukrainian army but burned down near Riga in February 2023.
A similar incident occurred on June 13, 2023, when a NATO Oshkosh M977 military tanker carrying fuel from Finland to Lithuania caught fire in Salaspils, near Riga.
💥🇱🇻 In the meantime, the echo of the war reached the Latvian city of #Salaspils.

One day later, an unknown person set fire to a convoy carrying NATO equipment.
It is currently unknown how he managed to set the fire.
However, NATO vehicles are seen engulfed in flames.

The Russians have recently been trying to trace the routes of Western military equipment reaching Ukraine and try to destroy it before it gets to the Ukrainian fronts.
In recent months they have been successfully doing this inside Ukrainian territory between storage areas and during the transport of NATO equipment to the Ukrainian frontline forces.
However, having understood that Moscow is not enough, it seems that they are trying to cause destruction, at least of part of the equipment, before it reaches the Ukrainian territory.
I feel awkward when he kept saying referring to WW2....

I actually feel very uncomfortable for him and the german people.... https://t.co/j11eM7bdkH pic.twitter.com/OpLMfd8X6d
Could these events be considered a diffusion of the war in NATO countries or even the initial stage before their military involvement in a generalized war?
Only time can tell!
