Lukashenko: I will not hesitate to use the nuclear weapons I received from Putin!

"God forbid I have to decide to use these weapons," he told a Russian news outlet a short while ago.

"God forbid I have to make the decision to use these weapons. But I will not hesitate if they attack us," Lukashenko said during a working visit to the Minsk region, according to the Belarusian news agency Belta.

The rhetoric from the Russian side about using nuclear weapons existed almost simultaneously with the invasion last February.

But now we also see Belarus threatening without having the ownership and codes to use Russian Nuclear weapons.

So threats without response!

Lukashenko is Russia's main ally in its war against Ukraine; he said that the Russian nuclear weapons soon to be deployed in his country are necessary "so that the foot of the scoundrel never sets foot on the soil of Belarus." The president from Minsk also said that, in the event of an attack on his country, "the response will follow immediately."

"I have already said this several times," he said, adding that "it is unlikely that anyone would want to declare war on a country that has such weapons." "These are deterrence weapons!" Lukashenko exclaimed. 

Last week, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the deployment of tactical nuclear weapons on Belarusian soil from July 8, as agreed between the two countries in March 2023, in an apparent attempt to pressure Ukraine to end the fighting.

  Belarus may again become a field of significant battles between NATO and Russia, as it was during the Second World War.
