Will there be an immediate escalation of the war between NATO and Russia?

The news that NATO is working on secret plans for military action against Russia has left the Western public unpleasantly surprised.

People are starting to realize that there is a smell of gasoline in the air.

We read from the Russian official media outlet: Ria Novosti.

It is a fact that the NATO bloc has diligently posed as the dove of peace for the past thirty years.

 Relying on purely defensive objectives, it is steadily expanding eastward, moving closer and closer to Russia's borders, while at the same time destroying entire countries and killing their civilian populations.

  Citizens of Yugoslavia, Libya, and Iraq were killed en masse because of NATO.

However, the European taxpayers who funded these operations rarely protested NATO's aggression.

 The only exception was the war in Iraq. If bombs fell somewhere, it was always away from the people of Paris and Berlin. 

Not even the invasion of Yugoslavia by NATO troops changed this reality.

More importantly, in recent decades, all of NATO's wartime adversaries have been poor countries with modest military capabilities. 

They had no weapons that could reach Paris or Berlin.

But now the US magazine Newsweek reports on the alliance's secret plans for war against Russia. They must be approved at the next NATO summit, which will be held in Vilnius on July 11-12.

Officially, the summit program lists only six points related to the confrontation with Russia.

 It is about harmonizing and coordinating Alliance forces on all battlefields of the war, long-term cooperation with private military equipment companies, increasing the production of weapons and ammunition, and creating reserves in the event of a long-term battle.

 In fact, it is openly acknowledged that achieving these goals will take several years.

Western public opinion, however, is agitated by another - secret - NATO plan for military action against Russia. According to Newsweek, this comes from thousands of documents that include careful planning of precise maneuvers.

In other words, the alliance plans to seriously confront Russia on the battlefield. 

But neither the people of European countries nor their MPs know how exactly this is supposed to happen.

 But they are the ones on whose heads the (Russian) bombs will fall. 

For people in Paris and Berlin, this is, of course, very unpleasant news.

 They must be dragged into a war with their own money (which they desperately need) – this time not against a minor, defenseless country but against the world's most significant nuclear power.
