Spectacular operation and victory of the Ukrainian special forces in the Black Sea region! (video).

Black Sea region

Monday, September 11, 2023.   They captured an oil platform from the Russians and destroyed a Russian Su-30 fighter jet.

Ukrainian forces have regained control of oil and gas wells off the northwestern coast of Crimea, the Defense Intelligence Service of Ukraine (GUR) announced on Monday.

During the operation, Ukrainian special forces were attacked by a Russian Su-30 fighter jet, which they managed to destroy. The rigs, known as "Boyko towers," were controlled by Russia after Moscow illegally annexed the Crimean peninsula in 2014.

The intelligence agency headed by General Kirill Budanov says the Russians used the towers as helicopter landing pads and to deploy radar equipment.

"A unique operation to control the Boyko towers was conducted by the defense intelligence units," announced GUR, which also released a video recording of the mission, CNN reports.

"During the operation, the special forces managed to capture valuable trophies: a stockpile of ammunition for UAM helicopters (unguided anti-aircraft missiles), as well as the Neva radar, which can monitor the movement of ships in the Black Sea," he said the GUR.

During one of the operation phases, a battle occurred between Ukrainian special forces on boats and a Russian Su-30 fighter jet. As a result of the fight, the Russian aircraft was hit and forced to retreat," GUR claims.

Russia has recently announced several times that it has destroyed Ukrainian boats with soldiers on board, seeking a landing in Crimea.

On August 24, Ukraine's Independence Day, GUR announced that it had succeeded in such an operation, raising the Ukrainian flag on the territory of Crimea.

With the undivided help of the West (55 countries, at least), the Ukrainians are engaged in spectacular and heroic battles worthy of admiration against Russia.
