The month of October will be an important month for peace in the Balkans and beyond.
Bosnia is destined to be the main point of conflict in the Balkans between Russia and the US creating a highly dangerous situation over the region.
The war in Ukraine and the complex regime in Bosnia argue against any possible scenario for the next long time because of Moscow's pro-Serbs dispositions in Republika Srpska and those in Kosovo.
It has been shown by history that different ethnicities cannot coexist peacefully within a state entity, especially if in the recent past they have been involved in wars between them.
This is not just an internal affair, it is a manifestation of Belgrade's wider regional ambitions and dynamic power.
The danger is that a sudden declaration of independence by the Bosnian Serbs would not only destabilize Bosnia but also ignite ethnic tensions and conflicts throughout the Balkans, possibly triggering a chain reaction of territorial claims and conflicts in Montenegro, Skopje, and Kosovo.
This perspective is reinforced by the complex web of international interests, particularly Croatian and Serbian redemptive ambitions for Bosnian territory and Russian and Chinese influence."
Ultimately the distraction will be with the involvement of NATO troops in the Region or the involvement of Russians?
